Our Story
Joy, sealed in a jar
JarJoy began the way most good Persian food does — around a table, with someone insisting you take a little more.

The beginning
From one kitchen to yours
Torshi is the side dish that quietly runs the Persian table. It cuts through rice, wakes up a stew, and turns bread and cheese into a meal. We grew up with a jar always open in the fridge — and could never find one in a store that tasted like home.
So we made it ourselves. The same chop, the same balance of vinegar and herbs, the same garlic-forward finish. JarJoy is that jar, made properly and made often.
How we got here
The recipe
A grandmother's torshi makhlout, measured in handfuls and patience, passed down through three kitchens.
The first batch
Twelve jars on a kitchen counter, shared with neighbours who kept asking for more.
JarJoy
A brand built on one idea: torshi deserves a beautiful jar and an honest label.
Today
Small batches, real vegetables, no shortcuts — fermented slowly, sealed by hand.
What we stand for
Real vegetables
Cauliflower, carrot, celery, garlic and chilies — chopped, never pulverised.
Slow ferment
Vinegar and time do the work. No artificial colours, no rushing the sour.
Small batch
Every jar is filled and finished by hand, so every jar tastes like it was meant for you.
