JarJoy is committed to serving everyone with dignity and independence, in line with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA for this website, and to provide our goods and customer service in a way that is accessible to people with disabilities.
What we have done
- Descriptive alternative text on product and content images.
- Semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields for screen readers.
- Keyboard access to navigation, menus, cart and checkout, with visible focus outlines.
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for body text and buttons.
- Motion and animated elements are reduced automatically when your device requests reduced motion.
- Layouts that reflow and remain usable when text is enlarged or on small screens.
Accessible formats and communication supports
On request, we will provide our product information, ingredient lists and policies in an accessible format or with communication support, at no extra cost, and in a timely way. Email hello@jarjoy.com and tell us what works best for you.
Service animals, support persons and assistive devices
At any in-person market or pickup, service animals and support persons are welcome, and you are free to use your own assistive devices.

Third-party components, such as our hosted checkout, are outside our direct control, but we will help you complete any order by email or phone if you cannot use them.
